Vibrating Feeders, Screeners and Conveyors

Vibra Screw’s line of vibrating pan feeders and conveyors offers a simple and efficient way to meter, screen and convey virtually any dry bulk material. Feeders are available with variable speed drives and can be paired with Vibra Screw’s vibrated bins to provide a compact, low cost hopper/ feeder package. With the addition of one or two screen decks these machines offer an economical heavy duty alternative to conventional gyratory screens. As conveyors they can handle up to 15,000 ft³/ hr and are available in lengths up to 25 feet. All feeder, screener and conveyors are available in carbon and stainless steel and with a variety of surface finishes and liners.

Live Bottom Bins Offer Mass Flow On Demand

Vibra Screw’s line of Live Bottom Bins provide a pre-packaged storage/discharge solution with capacities up to 1200 cubic ft. Equipped with a Bin Activator the same diameter as the bin, Live Bottom Bins produce level, mass flow on demand with virtually no residual material remaining. Live Bottom Bins are the perfect choice for food applications where first in, first out flow and easy cleanout are critical. The Bin and Bin Activator combination also works extremely well on very flow resistant materials including light density fibrous products and cohesive powders. Live Bottom Bins can be load cell mounted and teamed with a variety of metering devices for precision feeding applications. High temperature and high pressure designs are also available.

The Vibra Blender from Vibra Screw utilizes a unique combination of a rotating paddle and material fluidization to blend dry solids with the ease of liquids. Gentle controlled vibration of the mixing trough, fluidizes ingredients on entry where a cut and fold mixing rotor provides agitation. Materials flow through the Vibra Blender by gravity making it completely self regulating to changes of infeed rate.The Vibra Blender’s simple rugged design offers dust tight operation, easy clean out, and years of maintenance free operation. Vibra Blenders are available in capacities up to 1500 ft³/hr.

Spiral Elevating Conveyor Handles Hot Catalyst

Totowa, NJ: Vibra Screw, Inc., the industry leader in solids processing and solids handling solutions, is providing a 18′ Spiral Conveyor for the elevated transfer of various hot (~400F) catalysts extrusions coming off a rotary calciner. The heat of the material causes severe maintenance problems when using a bucket elevator, resulting in unacceptable downtime. Vibra Screw’s Spiral Conveyor moves material vertically, solely through the action of twin external vibrators with no internal moving parts. It eliminates the heat related maintenance problems of the bucket elevator with its many parts and also helps cool the material prior to the next process point. This machine is fabricated of 316 stainless steel material contact surface and includes a “High Heat” paint finish on external steel parts. A drain plug is included in the intake trough for easy wash down, which is required after each material change. A successful demonstration in Vibra Screw’s Customer Test Center was instrumental in the purchase of the Spiral Conveyor. After the successful installation and production performance, multiple units will be purchased to replace the existing bucket elevators.
